 JAR of Hope will host a fundraising gala at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Battleground Country Club, Manalapan. Tickets are $150. The event will feature a silent auction and include major league baseball memorabilia. JAR of Hope was started by Manalapan residents Jim and Karen Raffone when their 4-year-old son Jamesy was diagnosed with a rare and fatal mutation of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
