The Battle of Monmouth Revolution,

Wall Stadium

will open for its 51st season of stock car racing Saturday night. All four divisions, Modified (30 laps), Pro Stock (25), Street Stock (20) and Truck Series (15), will be in action as drivers begin their bids for the 2000 track championship. Joining the regular cars will be the popular Legends series. The 2000 season will run Saturday nights through Oct. 14. Monmouth Grand Slam,

Marlboro, will be hosting its annual baseball/softball summer camps starting in June. Students will use the Grand Slam’s indoor/outdoor facilities-batting cages, gym, batting tees, soft toss machine, swing king machines, radar guns and the baseball/softball field. Space is limited. The Princeton Area Walkers,

an affiliation of the American Volksport Association, have scheduled a 10K Walk at Monmouth Battlefield State Park, Manalapan, April 8. The start time is 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a 4 p.m. finish time. Anyone is welcome to participate in the walk. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The event will be held rain or shine.
