Lenten fish dinners

The Knights of Columbus and Columbiettes of Our Lady of Victory Council No. 2061 will sponsor fish fry dinner nights throughout the Lenten season. Dinners will be served from 4:30-7 p.m. on Fridays, March 17-April 21 at the Knights Victorian Hall, Washington Road, Parlin section of Sayreville. Takeouts are available. ‘Skunk Cabbage’ event

slated at Cheesequake

A "Skunk Cabbage Walk and Draw" program will begin at 11 a.m. on March 19 at the Cheesequake State Park Interpretive Center, 300 Gordon Road, Old Bridge. Participants will take a short hike to see the skunk cabbage, Cheesequake’s earliest blooming wildflower, and will then use their powers of observation to draw the flower. March 19 open house

Raritan Bay Medical Center’s Charles E. Gregory School of Nursing, Route 18, Old Bridge, will hold an open house "Ice Cream Social" for interested students and their parents at 2 p.m. on March 19. Single parents and their children are invited to free fellowship dinners set for 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday at Calvary Gospel Church, 423 Dunhams Corner Road, East Brunswick. Cardiac club slates

The Cardiac Club of Raritan Bay Medical Center will meet from 7-9 p.m. on March 20 at Centennial Hall in the hospital’s Perth Amboy division, 530 New Brunswick Ave. Guest speaker Daisy Behman, M.D., will discuss "How Hormones Affect Your Heart."
